Velocity Volleyball Club's mission is to improve the game of volleyball in the Modesto area while fostering athletes of good character.
Velocity Volleyball Club's philosophy is to find a place for every girl that walks into our gym. We do not restrict ourselves to only one team per age group. We will create teams based upon the need of our players. We aim to facilitate between 8-10 teams, with 10 -12 players, each season.
A message from our director...
Velocity: The rate of change of the position of an object, equivalent to a specification of its speed and direction of motion. (Wikipedia)
Velocity Volleyball: The rate of change of the mechanics and knowledge obtained by a player, equivalent to a specification of their development and direction of motivation.
Our Mission is to create a strong technical foundation in all our players in the core skills of volleyball while also teaching them the history and philosophies of the game. We do so by providing every player with a safe environment in which to achieve their highest potential.
Velocity VB Club has been founded on the principle of giving every young player an opportunity to experience the game of volleyball. Velocity has been a place where all players are welcomed. Velocity set out to better the quality of volleyball right here in our community.
Velocity Volleyball Club was established in 2000, in Hilmar, by a guy who loves the game and wanted to create a place that all girls, no matter what the level of skill, could come together and improve and share their love for the game. A few years ago, Velocity was brought to Modesto to keep this vision alive. We look forward to many years of continued success.
We aim to keep our cost low while still providing our players with a knowledgeable coaching staff, efficient training equipment, well-maintained training facilities, name brand apparel, and exceptional business management.
