2020 Coaches

Coach B
Brenda Moser is the owner, director, head coach, and head coach for 18 B for Velocity. Along with all these hats, she is also the Head Coach for women's volleyball at Modesto Junior College. She has been coaching volleyball in Modesto for 10 years and has her Masters Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration.
She attended Modesto High School where she was part of the first ever varsity squad to make playoffs. She played for two years at MJC as an outside hitter and setter, ranked in the top 25 in the CCCAA for aces. As a sophomore, she received all league honorable mention. She stayed on as on assistant coach at MJC, under head coach David Winfrey, for 5 more seasons.
Coaching resume includes: freshman (Gregori High 2014 (20-1 record), MoHi (2012, 2013)), Junior Varsity (Mohi 2013), Varsity (Mohi 2003, Central Catholic 2014). Club 13s (velocity volleyball club), 14s (Impact Volleyball Club), & 17s (Turlock Crush) as well as assisted for all club levels.

Mike
Mike Fieber started his coaching career as an assistant coach and recruiter for Cal State Stanislaus (1997-99). His coaching experience includes high school (Patterson frosh and jv) and club (Velocity 18s and 14s). He has been a student of the game participating in NCVA men's leagues and Volley Nation outdoor tournaments in the Open and AA levels.
Mike graduated from CSUS with his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology.

Jax
Jaclyn Hollis has been with Velocity since 2015. She is the Head Varsity Coach for Enochs High School. She started playing volleyball in 7th grade, attended Beyer HS, and played for 2 years at Modesto JC (under Coach B). She played club volleyball for seven years as well. She started out as a setter, then became a hitter, eventually specializing as a DS and Libero. She continued her education at CSU Stanislaus and graduated with a BS in Psychology and will continue on to get her Masters in Education Counseling.
Coaching resume includes: Beyer HS two years at the Freshman level. Enochs HS JV for two years.

Spencer
Spencer Barclay has been with Velocity since 2017. He has assisted for the 13s and 16s. Spencer is a local baseball player who attended Enochs high school, went to play at MJC, then continued his career for two seasons at CSU Stanislaus. Spencer has made the transition to volleyball with coaching at JV at Enochs HS and with Velocity. He brings a great knowledge of mental training and competitiveness to his teams.
Spencer is currently finishing up his degree at CSU Stanislaus and will soon be in the police training academy.

Brooke Finnegan returns to coach the 16s.

Sara
Sara Gonzalez enters her 3nd season with Velocity as the head coach for 15 Sara. She graduated from Beyer HS where she was a 3 year varsity starter playing all front year positions. Sara is also a Velocity alumni (3 years).
Sara just finished her playing career in the 2018 season as a MB/Opp at MJC. She is continuing her education as a Nursing Major.
Sara is bilingual and her 2 younger sisters are current Velocity player and coach!

Ambria

Rios
Alexis Rios will return for her 3rd year with Velocity. She is a graduate from Gregori HS (3 year varsity player, MMC Champs all 3 years). Rios continued her education at MJC where she is a nursing major.
She played for one season at MJC under Coach B (2017). Rios is a middle blocker and lead the team in kills/set, hitting percentage, and total blocks.
Coaching resume includes: Gregori HS (frosh and jv, 2015-present); Velocity Volleyball Club 2017-present.

Camryn
Velocity alumni Camryn Wong to be assistant coach for 14 rios.

Cam
Camrynn Loveall starts her 3nd season with Velocity as the head coach for 12 cam. Cam graduated from Downey HS. Cam currently attends Modesto JC where she just finished her sophomore year in the volleyball program. Her freshman season at MJC she was a setter in their 5/2 offense for volleyball and competed for the softball team as well.
Cam's sports experiences include volleyball, softball, basketball, soccer, and she has danced. She is also a Velocity player alum!
Cam is currently a Kinesiology Major at MJC working towards becoming a Sports Medicine Physician.
